Kenwood KDC 138 CD Receiver Review

I have been using Kenwood KDC-138 CD receiver for last two years and it’s given me good performance and has been a long lasting device. Its features were what made me buy the product initially. It is basically a CD player with an in built MOSEFT amplifier of about 22 watts RMS, mind you the quality is one of the best you can come across in this category. I have been able to play CDs even CD RW on this device. To top it all it has 6 EQ curves and even a three band equalizer. The input level is adjustable so I haven’t had to face any drastic change when switching to and fro from auxiliary source. I have found the device to be extremely simple to use. It is a user friendly device which you will get hooked to. It has an excellent customer service facility too, though you may not have to face such a situation. It also has a five function toggle switch on the right hand side of the plate and this makes it easy to adjust the settings whenever you wish.

The stereo’s amplifier is quite powerful and you can adjust the sound as and when you wish with the three band equalizer. You also have six preset curves if you wish to set them. The device also includes a front auxiliary input, and this feature is not available on all products and is an added advantage for users of this product. I have found it to be of immense benefit. It has a detachable face to which I find necessary. You can attach sub woofer if you wish and you can have great sounding bass. The product comes with a one year warranty, but as I said you may not even need it as the product becoming faulty is a rare possibility. The brand also provides extended services for those wish. The price is pretty reasonable for a product that is surely going to last you long. Go for it, you will definitely love the sound clarity and quality. It has been recommended by many for being a product which is absolute value for money.
